Preeclampsia Research Project

I began a new research project today!  I am working with a doctor in Idaho Falls who believes we can lower the chances of a woman contracting preeclamsia by 15%!  I am excited to see what we uncover.  I am going to be helping by collecting and sorting data from all women who had babies in Rexburg, Idaho from 2009 to 2011.

If you are looking for a research opportunity, I suggest asking some doctors that you are shadowing.  They have many connections and there may be an MD, PHD in your area.  Having a good research opportunity will expose you to different fields in medicine as well as increasing your chances of getting into a good school.  Some medical schools, such as the University of Utah, require you to have a research experience of some kind.  It is wise to look into your dream school's requirements as soon as you can.

I'll keep posting about my journey as well as my MCAT study plan which begins in two weeks!  Have a great day and good luck!

Welcome!

Hey guys!  My name is Cole Zesiger.

I am starting this blog to track and share my progress as I study the for the MCAT.  I will be doing self study over the next 6 months and taking the test in March.

I will also update this blog with activities I do to relieve the stress of studying and any other projects I am working on to improve my application.

I hope that this blog is able to help anyone who is confused about how to get started or what to study to be successful.

Welcome to my journey!
